Rover 2000 SC
I am in love with this multi-award winning near concours,1970 Rover 2000 SC, which has been cosseted and garaged since birth by her only 2 custodians in 47 years. Beautifully presented in period Tobacco Leaf, with a soft Black Leather interior, her time-warp condition completely belies her age. Her unbendingly fastidious owners must have hovered over the seats rather than sat in them, whilst calling in sick to work every time it rained!! She has gently covered a mere 1700 miles per year over her life and the drive is sublime. I was lucky enough to pilot her for over 170 miles in order to bring her home and was left revelling in the fact that I have experienced driving a brand new car that’s 47 years old! Her over engineered 2 Litre engine is torquey and has ample power reserves, cruising happily at 70 mph. The gearbox snicks effortlessly into all gears and the magic carpet ride puts a Citroen DS to shame. Her coachwork is beautiful, the detailed engine bay exquisite and her underside is as-new. Fancy owning probably the best Rover P6 survivor in the world? This could be your chance!!
