M491 Special Option SSE

£SOLD

Here at Carter Sports & Prestige, we are extremely proud to have in our collection, a particularly rare piece of automotive art, which could possibly be the finest available anywhere, period! Supplied new by Dick Lovett Porsche of Swindon in April 1986, this breathtaking Supercar was expensively specified as one of the few, Special Options M491 - Turbo-body Supersport cars by an Oxford gentleman, Mr Duggan. Only 37 of this model were built for the UK, all of which benefitted from the Turbo car’s up-rated suspension and braking systems. Flawlessly presented in de-rigueur Guards Red, with a perfect contrasting black sports interior accented by red piping, this machine has been painstakingly brought to perfection by some of the finest craftsmen in the field and using only Porsche genuine parts throughout. Every nut, bolt and widget has been polished and honed to a point that satisfies even my own OCD! Her cosseted life has been meticulously documented since birth and her history file is beyond comprehensive. There are 19 Porsche stamps in her original service book and Invoices amounting to many tens of thousands, pertaining to her diminutive 96,000 miles travelled over 33 years.

She has factory fitted air conditioning, a computer controlled electric convertible roof system, electric windows & mirrors, electrically adjustable seats and even a period Blaupunkt digital radio/cassette audio unit.
