MG RV8 Convertible

25,000 miles

SOLD

I’ve always marvelled at these true British hand-built rarities. Very familiar classic lines, with the build quality and presentation akin to an Aston Martin. Having now driven this beautiful V8 cruising machine for over 200 miles I absolutely get it! Visually superb in Rolls-Royce quality Oxford Blue paintwork, this completely unmolested example has been lovingly cared for by only three previous MG Owners Club members and has most recently been wafting around the Lymington area as is befitting of such a quintessentially English marque. The split-rim BBS style alloy wheels look stunning and are shod with high quality Goodyear tyres all round. Her gentleman’s club interior is a cosseting blend of polished wood veneers and ruched soft leather. There is an unused tonneau cover. It’s also nice to see a period Pioneer audio system with CD changer in place…… not that you’ll ever listen to it with that burbling twin exhaust in your left ear! . In her 24-year lifetime, she’s only covered a mere 25,000 miles and hence presents herself as a vehicle only 2 years of age. I have a folder with comprehensive history, original brochures, Invoices, Service books, MG factory wallet and MOTs. If the recipe for a true collector’s vehicle is rarity, originality and ridiculously low mileage, then this ticks all of the boxes!
